I have two sisters (one brother-in-law), and a baby brother. I have three nephews and four nieces. This is the sum total of my immediate whanau.
Both my parents have passed away. All my grandparents have passed away. There are my Mum's siblings, and when I pluck up the courage to find them, my Dad's sibling's from Waikato too. Millions of cousins, uncles, aunties, nieces and nephews, through all my whakapapa links.
When I said I was the head of a whanau, I literally meant it! Yeehaa!!
